«Этот спектакль мы почти не репетировали (когда вы его увидите, вы поймете, почему). И уж точно больше времени, чем на репетиции, у нас ушло на споры о том, можно ли, вообще, называть «это» спектаклем. Или правильнее говорить, что у нас появился «новый проект». «Квартетник» мы задумывали как такую… неформальную встречу со зрителями, сшитую, практически, на живую нитку; по идее, он должен каждый раз складываться по-новому, почти импровизационно, как беседа на настоящей вечеринке, которая идет от истории – к истории, от анекдота – к анекдоту. А еще нам давно хотелось рассказать, почему мы такие, какие есть; поделиться с вами нашими любимыми песнями, стихами, отрывками из любимых фильмов… всем тем, что нас воспитало, что сформировало наши вкусы и пристрастия.

The theatrical performance "KATABASIS", presented as part of the UNDER 30 section of the Nicosia International Festival, is a meditation on human transience. It depicts a world that endlessly collapses and is endlessly erected. A world in which characters and audience alike, are not prepared to respond to the remains, to the histories, to the new world, saying goodbye to the old. Inspired by the Cypriot topographical and political landscape, through a series of perpetual deaths the piece explores the paradox between tenderness and violence. It delves into the intricate experiences of growing up within the embrace of a wounded motherland, navigating the complexities and subtleties of this intertwined existence. Reminding us how under our feet lie ruins of worlds and bones yet uncovered from wars; divided landscapes, fighting for a place in history.

Η Petrides Events, με αφορμή τη συμπλήρωση 102 χρόνων από τη γέννηση του μεγάλου Έλληνα ερμηνευτή και συνθέτη Γρηγόρη Μπιθικώτση, παρουσιάζει ένα μοναδικό αφιέρωμα για τη ζωή και το έργο του.

Ο Γρηγόρης Μπιθικώτσης, ο συνονόματος γιος του ΣΕΡ της ελληνικής μουσικής και συνεχιστής της ιστορίας του στα μουσικά δρώμενα, μαζί με τον εξαίρετο Κύπριο ερμηνευτή Πέτρο Κουλουμή, θα μας ταξιδέψουν σε ένα βιωματικό μουσικό ταξίδι με τραγούδια σταθμούς της ελληνικής δισκογραφίας, που ερμήνευσε αλλά και συνέθεσε μοναδικά ο αείμνηστος πατέρας του.

Eleni Charalambous and Christos Fountos, two young artists from Cyprus who are pursuing careers in Italy and England respectively, meet for the first time on the stage of the Nicosia International Festival and the Nicosia Municipal Theater, offering a fresh musical proposal, introducing the world of opera and classical song to younger generations. Their vision is to take the audience on a multicultural musical journey through a unique piano and voice recital, where classical pieces and operatic arias from different parts of the world will be heard.

We invite our young viewers from 5 years old to visit the village of Dikanki, where true miracles happen on Christmas Eve. The blacksmith Vakula is in love with the beautiful Oksana, who, because of her obstinate disposition, refuses to be with him. To win the girl's heart, the boy is even ready to make a deal with otherworldly forces, which, however, he manages to tame.

The program includes: N.V.’s favorite fairy tale. Gogol, which will be of interest to both adults and children over 5 years old, the real flavor of the Cossack village, which is conveyed through costumes, music and communication of the characters, the atmosphere of the holiday, the approaching Christmas and miracles, a photo shoot with the actors and memories for life.

A documentary play, based on true events, is the new work of Michalis Papadopoulos, directed by Alexia Papalazarou.

The director takes the stage, and unfolds the story of her mother, her family, the story of her brother Kyriakos and Sotiris, their loss, the murder of her brother, and how such a death can affect the lives of those left behind. "Alongside" is Agathoniki, her mother, who, as the main heroine of the work, describes through her mourning, Cyprus as she lived it from the time of the British occupation until the tragic days of the Turkish invasion.

In an era of conflict between human relations, when the scourge of racism, fascism, nationalism and political fanaticism returns more fiercely, Antilogos theater "brings" on the theatrical stage a reference play for a true story that everyone knows but no one talks about.
