Anneke van Giersbergen has announced another string of dates for her forthcoming ‘Darkest Skies’ tour, set to hit the road in October and November 2022.
Anneke comments: “I’ve missed performing live so much and I’m very excited to think about how the new songs on the album will sound live! I’m just really looking forward to getting out there and seeing everyone again.”
'The Darkest Skies Are The Brightest' is Anneke's 23rd career album. It proves, once again, that the Dutch artist defies being pigeonholed by any genre. Lyrically, and musically, Anneke lays her soul bare with the most evocative record of her career – captivating song-stories told with acoustic guitars, strings, horns, percussion, and Anneke's hypnotic vocal harmonies.
